Muses: Random Gluttony. Little India. Eat. Shop

Hb and I wanted to visit those specialised shops at Little India for ethnic clothings but was advised by S&R, my trusted Indian friends to go to Tekka market for nice and affordable ones since he only needed them for a one-off event. I was blown away by the colours and the varieties. We were distracted from our original purpose of the visit and started looking at the children's selection.  The price took me by surprise and I nearly bought several sets for the kids. I told mysel I will be back to get some for myself. (I have no idea for what purpose but they are so pretty!) Bought a pink set for Rae. She loves the shawl?scarf? that comes with it. Roy had a set of grand red.
Decided to try Mustard, since the reviews were good (Yes. reviews on certain websites are often my guide to makan places when we want to try something new or when indeciveness sets in) The food and service is good. I am simply happy with my cottage cheese. Then we ventured out to familiar grounds. Familiar in the day, not so at night.  We have visited little India countless times but always in the afternoon. We walked to this space where many workers gathered, chatting, watching an Indian show on the communal television. There was a stall selling drinks and the man was scooping hot drink from a pot on the stove into cups. We have no idea what it was. It was thick, yellowish with bits of stuff inside. I ordered one and asked him what it was. I had my first taste of buttermilk. Sweet. spice. nice.

 When can I visit India?
