Muses: Fashion Disaster or Style Rookie?

Just as I despair over the state of Rae's weekend attire recently, a lady called and chased after me just to compliment on what gorgeous leggings she has! (I kept hearing an 'EXCUSE ME' following me for quite some time before I stopped and turned around). Still, I am not happy. Rae's weekend attire has been mainly legging and tee, no thanks to our chosen activities. Her dresses and pretty clothings have been cold storage since she started P1. I have no motivation to buy pretty clothings for her. Her wardrobe is dull.

This is what happened when a 6 year-old turned fashionista. A pretty dress with all the wrong accessories! She insisted she wanted to wear my cardi. Her MJs paired with pokka dotted socks! My eyes burnt just looking at them. She has the need to over-accessorise of course! watch and necklace. I am sure she would love to have lots of bangles around her wrists. but the hairband was a nice touch. BUT the BAG! OMG. It is totally wrong. A deuter haversack with that dress?!! But she was adamant and today she is the creative director and I am the blind chaperone. What is totally wrong in that photo? Her posture.

I will be the supportive and deluded mom because just perhaps, she might do a Tavi Gevison!
